My beautful angels . . .
In January 2000 my dream of becoming a Mommy was answered by God. I was gifted with my oldest daughter Amaree and consequently in August of 2000 we were blessed with our second daughter Chloe Rose. I never would have imagined that I'd be a Mommy twice over in one year, but I have no complaints. I'm so blessed with these two beautiful and gifted girls. My favorite thing is when Amaree calls me Mommy. Amaree is now 2 1/2 years old and our little Chloe Rose is 9 months old. Their Daddy thinks they are the most gorgeous children on the face of the earth. He's not biased at all! Ha! Ha!
My beloved husband. . .
I met my husband in late August of 1997. He is truly my soulmate and partner in life. We were engaged only 6 months later on my birthday February 14, 1976. Valentine's Day too! It was one of the most special days of my life. We were married on June 15, 1998.
Dan is a computer programmer and is currently finishing up his masters degree from UC Davis. He enjoys reading, writing sci-fi, playing on his playstation, designing games, visiting historic places, woodworking, and spending time with me and his girls.
My family . . .
My Mom and Dad, Angee and Jeff, have been married for 28 years. They met in Germany, where my mother was born and raised, while my Dad was in the Army. They were married three years after they met and three years later they had....Me! Tada! Our family wouldn't be complete until 10 years later when they were finally able to have a little boy. That "not so little" boy today is my brother Marcel who is 15. I am very lucky and blessed to have been raised in the family I was raised in. I have grown up knowing how loved and appreciated I was. We've had rough times, as any family does, but the closeness we all have today marks how good a job my parents have done with our family. I'm fortunate enough to have an awesome brother who I have a close relationship with. I also am blessed to have two parents I'm close to and who love my girls and I so much.
My friends. . .
My best friends in the whole world are Kelli Hughes, Laura Martin-Covey, Audra Johnson-Gornall, and Beatriz Berumen. These have been four awesome ladies who have stood behind me in everything and always had a shoulder to cry on or a supportive word. I'm so blessed to have each of them in my life sharing so much with me. Thank you all for loving me and always being there for me.
